Job Description

The job holder is responsible for:


• Manage the Head of Bid Management (directly) and team of Bid Managers as part of responding to RFP/RFI

• Provide strategic direction and necessary inputs to the team members in meeting the targeted timelines without compromising on quality of output

• Report to the Global Sales Head and work with other key stake holders (Global Sales/ Production/ Service/ Implementation leaders ) in getting inputs in managing RFI/RFP and Bid Management

• Assist Global Sales Head in bid qualification process

• Carry out capacity planning resource optimisation in line with the RFI/RFP pipeline

• Keep abreast with industry best practices, market trends and market intelligence in the ITO/BPO space across various industry domains

• Closely associate with all the current operational projects within Xchanging across various industry verticals, functional domains and geographic locations


• Review and monitor repository of Market Intelligence / Analytics across various industry domains

• Review & sign off solution design developed as part of the RFP/RFI process

• Keep necessary band width to help team develop responses to RFP/RFIs.

• Review and sign off all collaterals/appendices/ annexures as part of the RFP response

• Ensure that the team adheres to all the key milestones specified in the RFP/RFI as part of the bidding process and keep all the key stakeholders updated regularly on the progress

• Review & sign off collaterals / case study material related to Xchanging operations across the industry domains, geographic locations and service offerings

• Validate reports to key stakeholders with a status on progress of new opportunities being pursued (number of deals, details, milestones achieved, key issues/challenges, etc)

• Review and sign off training manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) specific to Global Sales Support function in line with Xchanging methodology

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications

• Post Graduate / MBA / PMP (mandatory)

Work experience

• Minimum of 14-16 years of post qualification experience (at least 5 years in the job profile in scope)

• At least 5 years of experience in service delivery (front line business or back office operations)

• Must be proficient in MS Office Tools (word, excel, ppt, visio, etc) and similar tools

Skill sets

• Problem solving capabilities & strategic thinking

• Eye for detail & Service excellence oriented

Industry Knowledge (exposure to at least 5 industry domains): Manufacturing / Banking / Financial / Logistics / Real Estate / Retail / Healthcare

Functional Domain Experience (exposure to at least 4 functional domains): IT (Products/ Services) / HR Services / Procurement / F&A
