The Role

This position reports to the Director of Admissions, Europe. The primary responsibilities are: student recruitment in India, sales process and admissions management, budget control, internal support and co-ordination.

 Student recruitment, channel management and regional strategy

• Develop & implement lead generation strategies

• Develop relationships with potential recruiting sources (direct and indirect)

• Attend regional fairs

• Coordinate and attend regional information sessions

• In coordination with central marketing, develop the on-line strategy for the region (search engines, targeted web sites, emailing, on-line info sessions etc)

• Market research and competitor analysis

Sales process and Admissions management

• Phone and in-person interviews/meetings

• Assist candidates with the completion of applications

• Prepare files for review by admissions

• Ongoing file follow-up to ensure fast admission progress

• Support candidate with visa application and pre-departure preparations

• Ongoing customer service support to students and parents


Budget control

• Control budget and optimize spending in the markets

• Ensure regular check points to stay on target

• Assist the Director of Admissions with the preparation of the weekly statistics, KFRs and annual budget

Internal support and co-ordination

• Close cooperation with all central functions in Luzern and on campus (Recruiting / Marketing / Production / Student Services / University Placement / Finance)

• Close cooperation with the headmasters and teachers/guidance counselors

Requirements (all candidates)

  • Marketing/Business Administration/Equivalent degree
  • Study abroad experience
  • 5+ years work experience in sales and marketing
  • Strong business acumen and commercial instincts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
